Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Hawaii developed The Children’s Plan to provide children up to age 18 with basic medical coverage, including preventive services, immunizations, doctor’s visits, diagnostic tests, emergency care and a limited number of prescription drugs.  The program features low monthly premiums and waived or small co-payments for office visits, immunizations and generic prescriptions, ensuring that children have access to the medical care necessary for maintaining good health.
