Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s PPO Pulse program offers a Web-based index of physician performance information based on a common set of clinical measures designed to improve and reward quality care for patients.  Physicians who meet qualifying standards receive an increase in their reimbursement based on their performance.
