Anthem Blue Cross participates in the Integrated Healthcare Association’s Rewarding Results program, a California-based coalition of health plans, physicians, healthcare systems, purchasers and consumers designed to maintain a public scorecard to compare physician group performance.  Since the program’s implementation, every quality measure has seen improvement, with increased patient visits, reduced hospitalizations and better management of chronic diseases.  The program relies heavily on technology to track and improve care quality.
